NOTICE 2 - Additional Measurement time, Wednesday 1-5pm

- The Class Measurer has added an additional measurement time slot today (Wednesday 16th) between 1-5pm
- Measurements will be held at the Coastguard building at Horwick Beach
- Registration sign-in is not open at this time. Registration sign-in will be open 10am-6pm Thursday and Friday morning 8-9am
- The rigging zone will not be open to store boats overnight Wednesday. Our event permit allows us to take over the carpark area for boat storage from Thursday and security will be provided Thursday on.

NOTICE 3 - Schedule Update/Weather delays/Measurement/Welcome

Measurement - 17 April delayed to 12noon / Friday 18 April measurement available from 0800hrs

- Measurement is postponed until 1200 today (Thursday) for those that require measurement. We will also have measurement open tomorrow morning (Friday) from 0800hrs. Boats that do not get measured prior to racing must carry their allocated corrector weights as per the PDF document on the Starling Class website dated 12 April 2025. A measurer will be on-site throughout the event to ensure compliance.

Registration Sign-in
- Registration will be open today (Thursday 17 April) from 1200noon
- Registration will recommence at 0800hrs tomorrow (Fri 18th April)

Schedule - Friday 18th April delayed

- Due to the predicted sea state tomorrow on the course and at the beach, and high tide at 1100hrs,
Friday's sailing and welcome program will be delayed by at least two hours for safety reasons.
- Welcome and sailor briefing delayed to 1130hrs Friday
- AP over A. A decision on sailing for Friday 18th April will be made at 12noon tomorrow (Friday)
- This delay should allow time for arrivals, unloading boats, and final measurement.

Storage of boats / Security - Thursday 17 April

- Those coming to the club today to complete measurement and registration we STRONGLY RECOMMEND not to leave your boats at the club due to the overnight strong winds and resulting potential damage - you do so at your own risk and are advised to secure your boats.

- Security will be provided from this evening (Thursday) for the event.
